Joseph T. Tolliver

Joseph T. Tolliver (Ph.D., Ohio State) is Associate Professor of Philosophy. His specialties are epistemology and the philosophy of mind. He is currently working on a book on color and color experience titled The Matter of Vision. Other areas of his research include relationships between eliminativism about content, deflationism in the theory of truth, and information-theoretic analyses of knowledge; the qualia problem in the philosophy of mind; and ancient and modern accounts of the senses. He has been a Ford Foundation Fellow.
